In Africa I got into the habit of listening to the BBC World Service. Listening to BBC’s news programs on Africa was the best way of finding out what was happening in the country where you lived. Whenever there was a crisis, cars would stop in the road, turn their radios up, and people would surround the cars listening to the BBC news in the local language.
The habit stuck with me, and I still listen to the BBC. Here is a half hour program, Overselling Climate Change, that was aired in April. It is a very good program, and I recommend it.
